Lancet & FT Commision calls for evidence of digital transformation of health in LMICs
The Lancet & Financial Times Commission entitled ‘Growing up in a digital world: Governing health futures 2030’ is calling for evidence and examples of the digital transformation of health, particularly among youth populations and citizens of low and middle-income countries (LMICs). Areas of interest for the commission include benefits of applications of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), genomics, and other to healthcare; and evidence on how digital technologies can strengthen health promotion and community participation in LMICs. The commission is also interested in technological responses for COVID-19 and ways to address questions of governance of digital technologies in order to protect human rights while continuing to promote innovation of life-saving technologies.
