Japan plans to invest US$140 million in Indian IoT and AI start-ups

According to reports, the Japanese government and private sector plan to set up a 15 billion yen (US$140 million) fund to invest in over 100 startups in India, that deal with artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of things (IoT). The deal is a part of ongoing collaboration between the two countries, that started in 2018 with the signing of a memorandum of co-operation in matters concerning IoT and AI.
