ITIDA and Visa launch mentorship program for fintech startups in Egypt

 The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and Visa kicked off a fintech training program that will provide a full package of benefits and services for Egyptian fintech startups and entrepreneurs with creative solutions in priority areas such as financial inclusion and digital payments. The program aims to buttress entrepreneurship, help startups develop innovative fintech solutions, and improve the digital payment system in Egypt. Eligible fintech startups and entrepreneurs will have access to Visa’s Application Programming Interfaces (API), which facilitates integration with Visa’s global network and experimentation with Visa’s sandbox. The deadline for receiving applications is 3 March 2021.
