Ireland appoints AI ambassador
Ireland has appointed its first AI ambassador to promote awareness and advocate for the ethical use of artificial intelligence in the economy and society as outlined in the national strategy.
Following up on a commitment outlined in its national AI strategy, Ireland has appointed its first AI Ambassador ‘to champion AI as a positive force for the economy and society’. The ambassador will be engaged in activities focused on promoting awareness among the public and businesses on the potential of AI, and will advocate for an ethical approach to the use of the technology.
