Intergovernmental organisations launch globalpolicy.AI platform on AI governance

Eight intergovernmental organisations (IGOs) have launched globalpolicy.AI – an online platform dedicated to helping policy-makers and the public navigate the international governance landscape in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). The platform provides access to information on AI-related activities undertaken by the partner IGOs, while also helping facilitate cooperation among these organisations in achieving the common goal of driving responsible development and use of trustworthy AI. The eight IGOs are the Council of Europe, the European Commission, the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, the United Nations, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, and the World Bank Group.
