Indonesia reaches tax agreement with Google

After months of negotiation, Indonesia and Google have reached a tax settlement for 2016. The Indonesian Finance Minister ‘can’t disclose the figure’, and it is unclear whether the dispute about Google’s taxes for other years has been resolved. The investigation into Google was launched in September, when the company was accused by the Indonesian authorities of owing unpaid taxes, and risked a bill of more than $400 for 2015 alone.
