Indian child rights body seeks probe on online sexual children videos

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) of India is seeking a probe and action over reports of rampant circulation of sexual videos of children on Whatsapp. The body is also planning to frame a preventive policy to protect children on digital platforms. NCPCR Chairperson, Priyank Kanoongo shared that the child rights body is planning to call a meeting of relevant stakeholders to discuss preventive measures and policies to curb the circulation of child sexual abuse videos online.
