India is considering regulating cloud computing
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is considering introducing regulation for cloud computing, and has published a consultation paper asking for input in this regard from stakeholders. Some of the areas covered by TRAI in this paper, an on which comments are sought, include: control over data stored in the cloud, data portability, interoperability of cloud services, quality of service, and security.
