French telecommunications giant Iliad reported an 11.8% rise in core profit for 2024, driven by strong growth in France, Italy, and Poland.
The company, majority-owned by billionaire Xavier Niel, also revealed plans for a €3 billion investment in AI, focusing on subsidiaries such as OpCore, Scaleway, and Kyutai.
Total earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) reached €3.85 billion last year.
Iliad added over half a million mobile users in France and saw substantial growth in Italy and Poland, with 900,000 new mobile subscribers in Italy and 270,000 in Poland.
Looking ahead, Iliad aims for €2 billion in operational free cash flow by 2025.
