IDC study: companies are increasingly using web standards to create hybrid applications for their operations

A recent study from the International Data Corporation (IDC), cited by Whatech, shows that more and more companies are increasingly using web standards such as HTML5 and modern web languages to create hybrid applications for their operations. According to the study, HTML5, which is now supported by more and more browsers, offers new opportunities to developers and designers in areas such as mobile apps, animation, advertisement, and interactive web development. JavaScript is also mentioned in the study as having a significant potential to provide native-like responsiveness, user interface and user experience in the development of enterprise applications.
