ICO adopts UK GDPR certification schemes
According to the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the U.K. Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) approved its first certification scheme criteria for the U.K. General Data Protection Regulation. The ICO adopted three schemes. The first is a standard to ensure personal data is handled properly when IT equipment is reused or destroyed. The others relate to schemes involving age check and children privacy.
