Huawei opens upgraded East Africa Regional Training Center
Huawei kicked off the revamped East Africa Regional Training Center to promote economic and social development in Kenya by training its workforce on the application of emerging technologies. The training center, which is established at the African Advanced Level Telecommunications Institute (AFRALTI) in Nairobi, is equipped with the latest innovative equipment in 5G connectivity, cloud networks, smart energy solutions, and equipment to provide practical-orientated training courses on the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). It will target telecommunication operators, government information and communication technology (ICT) officers, network contractors, university students, and corporate employees with training on mobile networks, fiber networks, energy solutions, and integrated telecommunications infrastructure.
