Huawei Morocco, in cooperation with the Moroccan Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, organised a training program as part of the Chinese giant’s global program called ‘Tech for Her, Tech by Her, and Tech with Her’, which took place from 12 June to 14 in Rabat to support women and bridging the gender gap in the digital sphere.

Huawei Morocco’s Chief Brand Officer Nabil Ouchagour emphasised the importance of gender equality in the technology business and included males in a training session for Huawei specialists. The curriculum covers technical issues like AI and big data and soft skills like design thinking. Its goal was to provide women with the resources, knowledge, and leadership abilities needed to boost their confidence and engagement in Morocco’s digital transformation. Virtual visits to the Huawei showroom in China, hands-on seminars, and a more excellent grasp of the current technology trends were all part of the program.

Huawei and the Moroccan Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform collaborated to create an inclusive and varied digital ecosystem at the first Digitech Summit on Ecosystems in July 2022. As part of Huawei’s plan to establish Morocco as a regional digital hub in Africa, this includes a training program for women in technology. The initiative will give women the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to shape Morocco’s technological transition.
