Huawei asks court to throw out US telecom funds ban
Huawei filed a lawsuit with the U.S. federal court in New Orleans claiming that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) acted improperly to bar rural carriers from using government subsidies to buy equipment from Huawei or ZTE Corp. on security concern grounds. If successful, Huawei would be able to supply American rural carriers with equipment and technology.
