UK water company South Staffordshire PLC published that it has recently experienced a criminal cyber-attack involving unauthorised third-party access to its systems. According to the company’s statement, the incident has not affected their ability to provide safe water. The company also stated that it had taken immediate steps to respond to and manage the incident by involving forensic experts to investigate the issue.
