Guterres: ‘Ensure digital technologies are a force for good”
Marking the World Telecommunication and Information Science Day, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres noted that digital technologies must be a force for good. He also highlighted some of the challenges brought about by digital transformation including the widening digital divide that mostly concerns women as well as the spread of misinformation, data violations and cybercrime.
