Google won a jury trial in a patent lawsuit in Delaware Federal Court. The lawsuit was filed back in 2013 when the patent owner Arendi S.A.R.L. sued Google over the patent, ‘which relates to retrieving information like names and addresses from a database and entering it into word processors and spreadsheets.’

The jury in Delaware court decided that Google did not infringe any of the plaintiff’s patents and agreed with Google that the patent was invalid due to earlier disclosures of the same concept.
