Google teams up with NOAA on weather forecasting
Google has teamed up with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in order to explore the advantages of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in order to make use of NOAA’s satellite and environmental data. As part of this initiative, the tech giant is expect to deliver services that will help improve weather forecasting, climate research, environmental monitoring and technical innovation.
