Google to start complying with search warrants

Google will start complying with search warrants to produce data stored in its servers overseas, the US Justice Department has said. One exception will be search warrants issued by courts in the Second Circuit (Connecticut, New York, and Vermont). Last year, a New York judge ruled that Microsoft could not be obliged to provide data stored overseas on the basis of search warrants. It seems that Microsoft will continue to challenge any requests it receives.
