Google filed a request in Utah federal court to dismiss antitrust charges against the company related to its app store. The lawsuit, filed by Epic Games, Match, and US state attorneys, accuses Google of abusing its market power in the Android mobile operating system’s app store, Google Play. Google argued that it is not legally obligated to put other app stores in Android and game developers are not prevented from creating alternate app stores.
