Google reportedly moved €15,9 billion to Bermuda in 2016

According Bloomberg, Google moved €15,9 billion to a Bermuda shell company in 2016, in an effort to avoid taxation. Evidence of the move was found in regulatory filings in the Netherlands, as the company shifted its revenue to a Dutch company with no employees, and then to a Bermuda mailbox owned by an organisation registered in Ireland. Google said in a statement that it pays ‘all of the taxes due and comply with the tax laws in every country we operate in around the world’.
