Google announces launching apps in 16 countries and 20 US states

According to the statement issued by Google, public health authorities in 16 countries are using Google and Apple’s Exposure Notifications System (ENS) application programming interface (API) across Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and South America, with more apps currently under development. In the USA, 20 states and territories—representing approximately 45% of the US population—are exploring apps based on ENS, expected to launch in the coming weeks.
