Germany to host international summit on digital health solutions
The health innovation hub (hih), a think tank established by the German Federal Ministry of Health (MoH), will host the International DiGA Summit on 16 September 2020. Representatives from the MoH and the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices will explain the application process and requirements for the DiGA Fast Track, through which digital healthcare solutions can be qualified for reimbursement. In November 2019, Germany passed the Digital Healthcare Act, which allows providers both in and outside Germany to market digital health solutions to patients insured by the statutory healthcare system.
