German data protection authority criticises Irish authority for unbearable inaction

According to IAPP, the German Federal Commissioner for Data Protection criticised the Irish Data Protection Commission for its “unbearable” inaction. Regretting the lack of sufficient actions taken against large Internet companies, Ulrich Kelber also called for the creation of a new EU authority that would “delegate large, cross-border cases with a three-quarters majority.”
