GDHP issues white paper to guide countries to leverage digital health tech

The Global Digital Health Partnership (GDHP), an international partnership that consists of 30 countries and the World Health Organization (WHO), to facilitate global collaboration and co-operation in implementing digital health services has published a white paper. The white paper aims to share countries’ digital health experiences, areas of challenge and debate to support planning, implementation, and evaluation of digital health initiatives. The paper covers interoperability, clinical and customer engagement, evidence and evaluation, and cybersecurity. The GDHP stressed that the paper serves as an key asset in helping governments leverage digital technologies in planning for future pandemic and championing universal health coverage (UHC) and the sustainable development goals (SDGs).
