France launches digital health pass for air travel

According to a report, France became the first country in Europe to adopt the digital health pass, which lets users store their electronic certificate of negative COVID-19 tests and COVID-19 vaccine certificates on the TousAntiCovid app. France has introduced this scheme only for flights to Corsica at the moment, while planning to eventually roll out to overseas flights. The minister of digital transformation commented that discussions are underway to potentially allow uses of the app for admission to concerts, festivals, and trade shows. The government has however ruled out its use in bars or restaurants.
