Flutterwave partners with Paypal to allow African merchants to accept and make payments
Nigerian start-up Flutterwave has partnered with Paypal to enable African merchants on its platform accept and make payments. Flutterwave is a payment service provider for small businesses, that operates in 50 African countries. Its partnership with Paypal is expected to increase consumer choice in e-commerce and will be relied on by Africans in diaspora making remittances back home. The company recently secured $170 million in capital injections from investors, making it among Africa’s most funded start-ups.
