A financial giant Fidelity Investments opens up for the cryptocurrencies trading

Fidelity Investments company with 72 years of tradition in trading financial assets, confirmed that they are launching trade execution, and custody service for cryptocurrencies. Fidelity is starting a separate company, Fidelity Digital Asset Services for institutional investments in cryptocurrencies. Company is known as one of the biggest in the field, taking care of $7.2 trillion in client assets.

In their statement to the press, Fidelity Investments CEO Abigail Johnson pointed out: “We expect to continue investing and experimenting, over the long-term, with ways to make this emerging asset class easier for our clients to understand and use.” The platform will custody bitcoin, ethereum, and few yet unnamed cryptocurrencies.
