Fact-checking organisations form alliance to fight COVID-19 infodemic

The International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) at Poynter Institute in Florida, USA, launched a collective initiative to counter disinformation around coronavirus. More than 100 fact-checking organisations have allied to publish, share, and translate articles on the coronavirus. The alliance created a database collecting all false information they have detected that will be updated regularly. The group has already published more than 1000 fact-checking articles and weekly reports.
