Facebook to launch rural WiFi in India
Facebook is talking with Internet service providers to launch its Express WiFi programme. The initiative allows users to access the Internet via local hotspots. Earlier this year, Facebook had to pull out its Free Basics initiative from India after the service was banned for its discriminatory pricing of data services.
