Facebook could be charged with 3-5 billion US dollar tax bill
An extensive investigation by the US Internal Revenue Service has concluded that Facebook could be faced with a 3 to 5 billion US dollar tax bill. The investigation researched the way in which Facebook transferred its assets to Ireland. Facebook responded that it ‘complies with all applicable rules and regulations in the countries where we operate’.
