European Commission launches International Association of Trusted Blockchain Applications

Launched by the EU commission in Brussels, the International Association of Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA) is envisaged as a global multistakeholder forum aiming to provide the framework to encourage public and private sector collaboration. Some of the members of the association include Barclays, Telefónica, SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication), L’OREAL, Repsol, and others (full list here). The INATBA will also work on promoting distributed ledger technology (DLT) to be ‘mainstreamed and scaled-up across multiple sectors’.
