European Commission claims Google breaches EU antitrust rules

The European Commission has informed Google that it has broken EU antitrust rules, as it ‘abused its dominant position by imposing restrictions on Android device manufacturers and mobile network operators.’ Commissioner Margrethe Vestager claims: ‘A competitive mobile internet sector is increasingly important for consumers and businesses in Europe.
