EU to launch forum to fight online extremism
The EU has announced it will organise a forum to fight online extremism on 2 December, and has invited Internet firms and law enforcement agencies to contribute. ‘We need to counter this abuse of the Internet and its growin role in radicalisation with determination and a shared plan of action’, EU Home Affairs Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos said during the High-Level Ministerial Conference on ‘Criminal justice response to radicalisation’.
