Estonia tests digital immunity passport for workplaces
Estonia is reported to have been testing digital immunity passports, developed by founders of Transferwise and Bolt, to ensure a safe return to workplaces as the country starts to ease Coronavirus lockdown measures. A digital immunity passport creates a temporary QR code that is generated based on testing data and is able to be shared with an employer and others. The World Health Organization (WHO) stated earlier that there is not sufficient evidence about the effectiveness of antibody mediated immunity to guarantee the accuracy of an immunity passport.
