Ericsson wins 5G radio contracts in China

According to a Reuters report, Ericsson won a 3% share in a joint 5G contract from China Telecom and China Unicom. Whereas the tender document published by the Chinese companies does not disclose the percentage wins, Huawei and ZTE are expected to have won a major share of the contracts. Ericsson had warned that the company would lose market share in China due to the Swedesh ban of Chinese equipment suppliers and in fact saw its share in China Mobile drop from 11% to 2% last year.
