Egypt to increase investment in e-waste recycling

The Egyptian government has increased investment in a project aimed at boosting e-waste recycling, as confirmed by the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Communication.

The two ministries are working together to launch an electronic application to collect e-waste in exchange for discount vouchers on new products. Moreover, seven e-waste recycling factories have already been opened in Egypt, while another five are being licenced.
