Data breach of South African IT company leads to leak of 1 million web browsing records

According to ZDNet, a database of a South African IT firm containing more than one million web browsing record has been exposed, with users in South Africa mostly affected. It exposed all internet traffic and activity of these users, including highly sensitive and private activity, such as pornography. According to vpnMentor, the company which discovered the data breach, the database gave access to a complete record of each user’s activity in a session, allowing to view every website they visited – or attempted to visit.
