Copenhagen to ban shared electric scooters

The city of Copenhagen announced it will no longer be possible to rent or park an electric scooter in most parts of Copenhagen business and history city centre from 1 January 2020. In practice, the measure will affect the sharing-industry which rents bikes from their apps. The restriction aims at facilitating the circulation of elder people in the areas. The shared scooters have been blamed for making it difficult for seniors to circulate on sidewalks.
