It is reported that the software REIGN from QuaDream Ltd allows users to spy on another person’s phone, including recording calls, reading messages, and taking photos. The spyware took advantage of the invisible iCloud calendar invitations available on Apple iPhone and sent invites from the spyware’s operator to victims. Citizen Lab detected that the spyware was used from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Ghana, Israel, Mexico, Romania, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan.
