Canada announces Declaration on Electoral Integrity online

Ahead of the October 2019 Federal elections, the Government of Canada launched the Declaration on Electoral Integrity online to prevent the misuse of online platforms to spread misinformation during elections. The Declaration represents a joint commitment from both online platforms and the Canadian government to ensure integrity and transparency of the institutions and processes leading up to the elections
