Cambodian government is using COVID-19 pandemic to arrest critics

Human Rights Watch accused Cambodian government of conducting arbitrary arrests of opposition supporters and critics. The government has been working on a state of emergency law that further restricts freedom of expression, association and assembly. So far, at least 30 people have been arrested on the charges of spreading COVID-19 related fake news.
