Bulgaria to hold 5G auction after legal dispute

According to a Reuters report, Bulgaria’s telecoms regulator, the Communication Regulation Commission (CRC), said it would hold an auction for three 5G licenses after its decision to allocate them without competition was contested by Vivacom, the country’s leading telecom operator, in court. The CRC’s head Ivan Dimitrov told Reuters that the regulator decided to amend its decision to accelerate the process and avoid time consuming court proceedings.
