Brazilian congressman proposes new bill to create digital immunisation passport

Brazilian Congressman Felipe Carreras presented a bill proposal for the creation of the Digital Immunisation Passport. According to the text, compliance with mandatory vaccinations would be confirmed by the Digital Immunization Passport, which would be approved by the health ministry and issued by the economy ministry.  State governments would be able to use the Digital Immunization Passport to implement a range public health control policies, including the implementation of fines and penalties.
