Bipartisan legislation was introduced at the US House of Representatives concerning the influence of new technologies

Representatives from both parties introduced the COMPETE Act – The American Competitiveness on More Productive Emerging Tech Economy Act. The bill requires the Federal Trade Commission and the Secretary of Commerce to conduct studies and submit reports on the impact of IoT and IoT in manufacturing, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, blockchain, new and advanced materials, unmanned delivery services, and 3D printing on the United States businesses conducting interstate commerce.
