Benin to hire contractors for e-passport project
The Government of Benin has given a greenlight for hiring a contractor for the country’s e-passport project. The project is part of ongoing digitalisation of government services such as taxes, justice, land, and public procurement. E-passports will enable e-application for passports as well as improvement of security features of travel documents. Citizens living abroad will be able to apply for passports remotely.
