BBC investigation reveals paedophiles’ use of secret Facebook groups

A BBC investigation found out that there are a number of secret Facebook groups, used by paedophiles to share sexually tinted images of children. When the undercover journalists attempted to report the content, Facebook replied that the images could not be removed as they did not breach ‘community standards’. In response to the BBC revelations, Rishi Saha, Facebook’s head of public policy, said that ‘Facebook would ‘deal directly with law enforcement to make sure they’re aware of these groups and follow the proper process.’
