The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Bahrain published a position paper on IoT. The report identifies and covers topics that are relevant to the development of safe and secure IoT. These include data privacy, network and equipment security and resilience, availability of spectrum, IoT identifiers, and licensing.
The Authority’s current stance on the provision of internet of things services is based on the facts available to it. As technology advances and evolves, the Authority may alter its stance and reserves the right to revise its views as necessary.
