Australia to develop digital vaccination certificate
The Australian government has announced that all COVID-19 vaccinations will be recorded on the Australian Immunisation Register, and certificates of vaccination would be available either digitally or in hard copy. Certificates could be required for overseas and interprovincial travel and for access to certain services. Minister for Government Services Stuart Robert said the government is working with its commemorative governments overseas to figure out ways for interoperability for such digitised vaccine certificates.
