Asia-Pacific Cybercrime Capacity-Building Hub Established

A new Asia-Pacific Cybercrime (APC) Capacity-Building Hub has been established to serve as a platform and focal point for cybersecurity capacity building in the Asia-Pacific region.

Further to a 2019 Memorandum of Understanding between the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office of the Republic of Korea, the World Bank, and the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise, an Asia-Pacific Cybercrime (APC) Capacity-Building Hub has been established to provide training for Asia-Pacific countries, to share ideas on combatting cybercrime, and to build a strong network of international cooperation. The APC-Hub was first conceptualised in 2015 during the development of the World Bank’s Toolkit on Building for Emerging Technologies.
